Pay 50% to start and 50% before final release when those steps are available. Follow milestones, answer editorial questions, and review delivered versions in your workspace.

Does creating an account start a paid project?
No. Account creation is free when public registration is available, and it does not commission paid work. Your quote, agreement, and payment steps are separate.
What should I upload?
Upload only a source manuscript you are authorized to share for this project. Keep it inside the private book workspace. Do not include sensitive personal information or third-party material you are not authorized to provide.
Who can access my manuscript?
Manuscript access is restricted to your account and authorized MAQUINE operations. Retention and deletion follow the applicable project terms and Privacy Policy, including legal holds. Keep your own source copy and do not send manuscripts by ordinary email.
Can I choose another payment currency?
Studio quotes and opens checkout in USD. There is no currency selector or conversion promise. Your bank or payment provider may convert independently.
How do questions and corrections work?
Use the private Messages thread for your book. Production questions keep the proposed options and recommendation together; your reply records editorial direction, not a contract change or file acceptance. For corrections, identify the delivered version and the change you need.
What if my book needs extra review?
Some books need scope or classification confirmation before checkout. Your workspace shows the current next step. Ask your project lead in Messages if anything is unclear.
